The upper half of the body looks normal only with the word dead carved into their chest. They have 2 blades growing from the back of the spine. They float, don't have any legs but they do have a giant tongue which has acidic saliva. You could lose everything it touched. They have the ability to through little Covid 19’s that would infect anyone who it touched. They were travelling to the start of it all. Beijing, China. It was a small group. A group of 5. One of which was victor. He was equipped with only a sword made of carbon steel. It could easily cut through these creatures, that they call Krona. The other 4 were scientists still working to cure the virus. They conclude that it has something to do with ionic bonds. They weren't the smartest but they worked with the ones who made the original vaccine. They were of various backgrounds but all had the same goal. They found many dead bodies of those who were not turned by the Kronas. They headed down, 20 miles down. They reach the powerplant and there us a swarm of Kronas. They had to fight one they knew they couldn't win. But they fought on.

They were able to get to a room safe away from the creatures. They knew they couldn't hide for long so they made quick work of finding all reports and Getting all materials they could hurry.

They ran as fast as they could to the exit. They had to kill many, and afterwards the sword was almost broken into pieces. They had captured one of these creatures to do tests on it. They tried and tried. Finally he had changed to look like a normal person. But he couldn't speak. He kept the signature smile of the Kronas and his legs grew back. They knew that they couldn't change everyone back but for now they could change some to help with future and hopefully to restore everyone.
